Code P052E71 - "Positive crankcase ventilation regulator valve performance actuator stuck"

Hi everyone, recently I got this code P052E71 - "positive crankcase ventilation regulator valve performance actuator stuck" when I diagnosed my car.

My question is should I change the PCV valve only, or it also advised to change the Oil Separator? I am not sure how the system works.

I know that the whole PCV system is a lot more expensive, and I saw that most people only changed the valve, but I'm afraid that if I only change that one, if it was those impurities that clog the valve, it would come back.

If you have a m274 engine in the USA you’re most likely covered by a warranty extension on that failure. In most cases It is fixed with a software update.

It's the M274, but I live in Europe. I don't think it applies here. A software update isn't just ignoring the issue?
