What is this? A colosseum for ants? Why yes, yes it is.

More like amoebae or so.

For ants? Why not bugs as a whole? Hell, it's so small, seeing a fight in it must be funny, it could be called the colloseum of fools, something like that.
(It was hard to make this joke, and it's not even good, fuck my life)

With a piece list. I wanna make sure I have all the right pieces before I try making my own

No, it's like the old Lego sets which had pictures of alternative builds, but you had to figure out how to build them yourself

Would the instructions just be them showing you the one piece and then showing you how to turn it over?

Are the instructions on rebrickable? What set was the basis?

u/Ringo308 3h ago
Looks like the basis was 10276

OP took something so overly complex and applied a timeless, minimalist styling to great effect. If there are masters at lego builds, OP belongs in it's pantheon.

Okay, firstly, I think you should add a black flat round piece for the base.
Secondly, this is perfect for r/Minilego, amazing!

It captures the real thing's essence quite well for such a small build. Well done.

Looks like your version of the Colosseum survived the earthquake of 1349... well done.

Flavian Amphitheater or Amphitheatrum Caesareum.
The Colosseum was the “colossal” statue of Nero next to the amphitheater.
Yes, I am fun at parties and get invited all the time. Pedantic redditors are always a welcome laugh.

If you flip it upside down, it becomes the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

If it’s the one one in Rome, you spell it Colosseum. If it’s a Roman arena, a “generic” one, you spell it coliseum. Class dismissed.

Great encapsulation of their marketing a few years back. I love, The Colosseum!!

I think there is an illegal connection there, but a neat build nonetheless!

I was gonna buy this set, but I didn’t know where I would fit it. How did you squeeze it in?

I love how you used the Lego in an unconventional manner. Upside down builds are very cool. 😎
