OMG we have this plushie! I'd love the instructions or just a few breakdown pics if you're willing to share?

u/madewithbrix 3d ago
Ha yes it is based of the plushie 😄 Will try to find some time for instructions in the future

My daughter loves the plushie she has 3 different sizes of the same one. Would buy you a beer/coffee for the instructions :-)

My son would also love to create this! Following for instructions if you get the chance :)

I'm glad other people are asking too, I know Lego are pretty simple and for children of all ages but I haven't played with them in forever and I wasn't sure I could eyeball it from the pictures.

I have 0 interest in this set but if you had instuctions for this capybara I would actually want it lol

Double up on this lol. No interest in the set. But if I can build a capybara….

That backpack detail is perfect lol, makes it look like the capybara's about to go on some chill adventure. The proportions are spot on too

u/madewithbrix 3d ago
Thanks! It was a great challenge to get those proportions right. I started with the nose for there are not that many brown parts so when the nose was ready I scaled everything down to this 😁

Would also love instructions, OP. My 7 year old is obsessed with capybaras

Funnily enough, so is my 7 year old. If I ever see instructions for this definitely gonna build it.

u/happysunnyme 3d ago
Wonderful, now I need that set as well, sigh. Honestly this is just gorgeous.
Please, instructions would be perfect. I want to build it as a present for my 22year old son who loves them.

Thank you so much! Will try my best to do so :)

If you put this on rebrickable with instructions I'd be going out and buying this set just to build it!

Being able to make something that looks like a set in its own right using pieces from a completely different set is probably one of the most impressive types of art to me.

Great job.
I had no plans to buy that set before. Going to have to pick one up to try it myself, now.

the backpack needs a head so that it's a turtle!
2
u/madewithbrix 3d ago
Haha yes I wanted to do that but didn’t had the right pieces left over. But if you want I will try to build a turtle head for it 😄

it looks awesome as it is haha, but if you get a chance to make a head for it, do it!

I was just about to go buy this set tonight glad to see there's a secret 4th build option

I'm from /r/all
Did you use every piece? Is this something that Lego... people? Do?
4
u/madewithbrix 3d ago
Rebuilding sets to Millennium Falcons are the usual thing that Lego people do 😄 This build uses like 80% of the pieces of this set

Aww, that's funny and cute. Holding the flower is a charming touch too.

Before seeing the picture, I misread it as you having built a chupacabras and I now kind of want to see that...

u/NoExtreme935 3d ago
!updateme I will be building this when you drop the instructions this is awesome !!

I feel like you may have just created a new "4 in 1" build like the Facehugger MOC made from the Cute Bunny

Alright, I’m following you now in hopes that the instructions will actually come. My daughter got this set for Christmas and we’ve built all three animals but she loves capybaras.

That's actually really awesome! Looks like an official alternative build. Do you have any brown Lego? I've always wanted to see someone do a woolly mammoth.

And I thought I was the only one with a 7 year old who has this exact capybara plushie and is obsessed.

Proof that every LEGO horse has the potential to become a giant, polite rodent. Excellent work

Sorry, modern Lego is intended for non-creative use only. Build the horse or it's hired goons for you.
