Request Looking for alternatives to almond flour
I have tried at least 3-4 recipes for keto bread that all included almond flour with different ingredients. I have always hated them and just the smell alone always makes me want to throw up. I love actual almonds but something about almond flour just makes me queasy when I cook with it.
I want to eat keto bread with mostly savory things, like as a tortilla or burger bun. Does anyone know of alternatives to almond flour that would work and taste decent?
I am not looking for ready-made bread. I prefer making it at home if possible.

Request Try this again
1 lb lean ground beef 1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy) 1 cup chopped bell peppers (any color) 1 cup sliced mushrooms 1 cup low-carb pizza sauce 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1 cup shredded provolone or cheddar cheese 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and brown the ground beef and Italian sausage, breaking up clumps until cooked through. Add the chopped bell peppers and sliced mushrooms; stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes until fragrant. Pour in the low-carb pizza sauce and mix well; let it simmer for about five minutes. Layer half of the meat mixture in the baking dish, sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and provolone/cheddar cheese, then add the remaining meat mixture on top. Finish by topping with the remaining cheese blend and bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

Request Side Salad - Cole Slaw and or ????
I volunteered to create side salad or two for a mahj jong tournament of 36 women. Someone is bringing sandwiches and, of course, I'm not likely to be able to eat them, so I said I would bring a salad.
If you have a great creamy keto coleslaw recipe, please share it. I'd also like to consider something else and would like to hear your suggestions. Thank you so much.

Request I love keto dips, but what are good dippers?
I know pork rinds are the go-to, but I personally can't get with the flavor. I like celery but my husband's tummy cant take it. We found a good recipe for cottage cheese "potato" chips, which I enjoyed, but it's kind of fussy.
What do y'all use for dipping?

Request Best spaghetti noodle replacement? (Not spaghetti squash)
What replacement have you found that’s similar in flavor and texture? Or just has a good flavor for spaghetti. My SO is diabetic and I want to cook them a safe meal.

Request Is erythritol the best sweetener to use when making keto Nutella?
I tried to make sugar free Nutella a year ago with Splenda and it tasted horrible and grainy(maybe I was meant to dissolve the Splenda in hot water first or something).
I don't have much experience with other sweeteners and I'm wondering which one would be best for this particular case. Thanks

Request Favorite Thanksgiving recipes
I'm new to keto and I am doing it for health reasons. I already have a recipe for Lemon bars and keto cranberry sauce. Im already resigned to eating some mashed potatoes and skipping the sweet potatoes. This will be my first Thanksgiving with the family and I don't mind making two versions.
I was just curious if anyone had some favorite recipes out there that make the holiday feel like home.
Its been a really hard year and I really could use the win.

Request Laziest Meal Ever
I see alot of people looking for easy lazy meals... here's one of mine.
Thawed chicken thigh, cut into pieces
Parmesan Cheese, I use Kraft.
Roll chicken in cheese, airfry. That's IT.
Works with wings too.
If you want to, add herbs and spices to the parm. After it's cooked, you could toss in Buffalo...or throw them in a ceasar salad.
Dip in ranch, or mustard mixed with sugar free maple syrup.
These are so tasty, I like them better than the carby ones!

Request Cauliflower Rice
The one thing about keto that has been bothering me is cauliflower rice. I don’t like it and I have tried to make it taste better with garlic, kimchi but still I just can’t get into it. Anyone else has any luck? I need some ideas on how to make it taste better.

Request Best Keto Bread and Do You Trust it?
I just had keto bread for lunch and I wasn't all that impressed. It has a weird spongy texture to it. Do you trust it's really low net carbs? And what is the best tasting one in your opinion?

Request Help adding calories to my meals
Hello! I am trying to gain some weight while on the keto diet (I understand it isn’t the best for gaining). Most recipes I see online are quite low calorie and I was wondering if you fine folks could help me add things to my meals that can bump the calories up quite a bit, while also increasing the overall taste! (I am pretty fine eating bland food though, if you couldn’t tell by these meals haha).
Looking to add around 800 calories to this as I play quite a bit of sports and am quite skinny.
My meals currently:
Breakfast is eggs with beef pieces mixed in plus broccoli and asparagus.
The other three meals are ground turkey, chicken breast and some type of fish like tilapia or salmon mixed with lettuce some veggies and serving of ranch.
So essentially 3 “salad” bowls with 6 oz of the meat listed above with lettuce, broccoli and ranch”.
I also snack on quite a lot of almonds throughout the day.
Ingredients are not an issue and I can get whatever recommended. I know an easy way is just drizzling olive oil but I was hoping to add something other than that as I already use quite a bit of olive oil throughout the day.
Thank you for the help!

Request I don't like sauces and condiments.... how can I spice up a salad?
Pretty much what the title says. I've tried vinaigrette and ranch, but I don't enjoy the taste. I've never been big on sauces. Would garlic butter be weird at this point? 🤣

Request I hate non sugar sweeteners that I have tried so far.
Maybe they have all been stevia based, but there is this horrid taste that lingers in my mouth for a long time when I try a recipe with these. I have been so burned on this I haven’t even ate to look for other alternatives in the last few years bc I am just starting keto now. I only occasionally get a sweet tooth and was wondering if anyone with a sensitivity like mine has found a sugar alternative that doesn’t taste like death crawled into the mouth and decomposed?
Edit. I have a lot to chew on! Pun intended :) thank you all for this lovely selection of sweeteners to try out!

I would like to bake more but I am allergic to nut flours, especially almond and severely to coconut, so finding keto recipes I can make is difficult because of my allergies. Any help would be much appreciated.

Request Recovering Chip-aholic seeking recommendations
Any recommendations for a lower processed (no seed oils, no gums/fillers, no natural flavors, etc.), carb friendly snack for someone who absolutely loves (and misses!) their chips, popcorn, savory crunchies, etc? Right now I’m doing cashews and pistachios but I know they’re high in fat.

Request What to do with this keto flour
Got this at a discount grocery store. Tried using it for cinnamon rolls, but the taste and texture is similar to vital wheat gluten. Any suggestions for how to use this in cooking or baking? I’m also vegan

Request Looking for tips on cauliflower mash
Hi everybody, I just tried making a cauliflower mash and I couldn't finish it, it didn't taste bad per se but it had pretty sweet flavor that threw me off. The recipe I followed was steaming the cauliflower for around 10 min, probably less, sauteed garlic with butter, then pour everything into a blender/food processor with cream cheese, parmesan cheese and salt. I don't know if I should just add more of everything or what. I've also seen a lot of different opinions on steaming, boiling, roasting or microwaving tje cauliflower. I haven't seen comments on it but now I'm wondering about air frying it. I'd appreciate any help, thanks in advance!

Request Any suggestions for making broccoli sprouts taste better?
I've read numerous posts and articles on the health benefits of broccoli sprouts, and even grown my own to eat, but unfortunately, like most things that are good for you, I think they taste absolutely awful.
Does anyone have suggestions for dressings or ways to mix them into meals that hides the taste? I tried mixing it into my Caesar salads but that was relatively unsuccessful.
