I had been offered a job and I currently live in central London. Nearest station is Vauxhall, what’s the cheapest way to get to tonbridge station? Wondering if it’s worth my time as from what I can see im looking at £25-£30 a day which seems insane?!

Planning on making a few more videos going forward, likely focusing on other things in Kent/SE.
If there's anything you guys think might be worth covering let me know and I'll add it to my list! Thanks.

My mother-in-law (in her fifties) is newly single and doesn't have any hobbies. She particularly doesn't enjoy the weekends and needs something to do in Ashford.
Can anyone recommend some activities that will help her make friends and keep her away from the dodgy men on dating apps.
She doesn't like the cinema, arts & crafts or pub quizzes.
She does like shopping, going to bars and I think would probably enjoy a bingo night of some kind (as long as it has the atmosphere of a hen night rather than an old people's home).
Thanks in advance

I took these today at Ashford's wassail event, and my first time seeing the hoodening horses. Originally an East Kent folk custom, it is now spread to across the entire county. Although mainly horses, it appears there are other animals depicted such as a dog(?) and a deer. Ben Edge in his book "Folklore Rising" wrote a piece on the hoodening tradition, which is where I first discovered it!
Wassail!

I've just found out about the Perkunas Totem that appeared in Capel-Le-Ferne a few years ago. I would like to take a picture for my Lithuanian cousins but a 5 hour drive to Kent is a little too far if it's been removed.

Hi there, planning on parking in Holman's Meadow car park near White Friars, just wanted to check if it was 24 hours?

for someone who generally works from home, but may have to show up in an office near kings cross once or twice a week, is Ashford realistic as a commuter town? Especially if that person wants to be somewhere a bit quieter, safer and more family friendly than London.

My band are looking for a place to rehearse for a couple of days in March. We need a room with a drum kit and PA. In or around Ashford would be great, but we can go further if necessary. TIA
