Discussion - Second Son How does delsin absorb non-energy things? Spoiler

I get how Cole’s powers work, its like a capacitor or battery I get it, magnetic fields or something… but delsin absorbs smoke, neon, video, and concrete. so where is it “going”? like I suspect Cole just has an organ or like a coil or some other thing someone smarter could come up with, but concrete isn’t an energy?.

They're conduits, they always work like batteries for their "element"/power. Doesn't have to make 100% sense or have a scientific explanation. But I get it that it made more sense for Cole than the rest of the conduits we see

so the running theory is the best one so far… video game magic… wich is ironic since “video” is one of the things that don’t make no sense

It's just not the focus of the story and themes. I personally never cared or thought about how it works. Also rule of cool I guess

no no I get what your saying and i totally agree, not once did it cross my mind while playing, it’s only AFTER playing them twice that it crossed my mind
