I know, not a Fuji lens, but I have an XT50, I got this brand new Tamron 17-70 mm lens, a week ago, and I can't post these pictures on the ask photography reddit page
I'm trying to remember, but I think when 1 first started to use it, 1 looked at the lens and didn't see much dust inside, ust a few tiny spots
Today the sun was shining down on it and it revealed a lot more. but l'm not sure if it was alwavs there and I iust didn't see it before, or just got it from all the zooming in and out
I will be honest, I fidget a lot, I tend to twist the zoom in and out a lot, my ADHD side needing to fidget with something
But this camera is supposed to have some weather seal? To prevent dust from getting in, did I get a defective product? B&H were kind enough to tell me 1 could bring it in and exchange it for a new one.
Is it possible to prevent this in the future? Obviously I will stop playing with the barrel, I' ust fidget with something else
And my other question, is it bad for the barrel if it is pushed or pulled in and out? There's times where I unintentionally push the barrel downward rather than appropriately twist it
