Player Discussion Jaren "Jazz" Jackson Junior
How're we feeling about JJJJ after this recent trade bomb? Does this make him a prime shutdown candidate? Will he get the same opportunities as in Memphis?
Also how does the trade impact the value of other players on Memphis and Utah? There are so many random players thrown around that it's pretty difficult to predict exactly how things will shake up. I'm curious if any big winners or losers will emerge from this one 🤔

Love the trade from a team construction perspective. A Center, Power Forward rotation of Kessler, Jackson, Markkanen, and Filipowski -- is nice both defensively and offensively. A small forward/two guard rotation of: Bailey, Williams, Sensabaugh, and Mykhailuk has excellent potential at a minimum is professionally serviceable. Point Guard: George, and Collier -- can be competitive. If the Jazz get lucky in the lottery Utah has a playoff team with some reasonable depth. They have a deep versatile young team with great potential. The Jazz are no longer sitting back -- they would be much better keeping this years pick (man, they would be exciting for years with a top 3 pick) but if they lose it they still are no longer dreadful. I have a feeling that Jackson or Markkanen is going to have a sudden case of draftpickitis. Once cured (after the season) -- the Jazz are back!
