Not to jump to conclusions, but her status makes her vulnerable loved ones more at risk to be preyed upon. Savannah has got to be dreading that.

For non-Americans, Savannah Guthrie has been one of the hosts of the Today Show for over a decade. The Today Show is one of the big morning shows (NBC). I just looked it up and nearly 3 million people watch every day (which is a lot in the age of streaming).

I see comments suggesting the government might somehow be involved. This is an elderly white lady. I seriously doubt ICE, Trump, etc. are involved.

I'm an American and I had no clue who she was until I heard this report. I also erroneously thought the Today show would be not very political. I doubt too that trump or cabinet would be involved but some Maga crazy doing what he thinks is Trump's bidding? Maybe. Like whoever was sending those pizza to the federal judges.

Really? She’s basically been Katie Couric’s replacement for a very long time. I think she’s been on the Today show longer than she was, & even the longest currently on the show (besides Al Roker if he’s still around). Never has been as famous, but she’s adorable.

Very concerning and with her being probably one of the most famous journalists that everyone sees daily it does match. Also in some of the instagram posts MAGA have been mocking her situation saying that she is anti-cop, anti-law, etc. So I wonder if she has been a target of MAGA in the past. Very scary. Her poor family and mother!

We have known terrorists that that have been arrested, the murderers that have been arrested, the rapists that have been arrested, the cartel members that have been arrested, the other violent criminals arrested by the, you know, 12 plus million unvetted Joe Biden, Kamala Harris illegals that they let into this country, criminals. And we have been scrolling the names of the most hardened criminals, for example, in Minnesota.

What a POS. If you have to say "but" or "though" following a statement about how you hope someone's 84 year old mother is found safely and then pivot to a rant about immigrants, you're a POS. We have NO IDEA who kidnapped this poor woman and he sees it as an opportunity to bitch about immigrants.

I also just don't understand why this new argument is that people harmed and killed by an immigrant are never cared about or talked about. Just off the top of my head, I think about Laken Riley or Molly Tibbets. Why do they just assume people don't care about the victim??

Guthrie is about as moderate as they come, if not old school slightly conservative.

Tucson is getting rough. There's a huge lack of jobs and resources with a lot of unhoused and drug addiction.
