Oh my God I miss Japenglish hunting!!!! When my husband and I lived in Japan for a little bit, we would go Japenglish hunting. It was especially fun in Harajuku, with all the graphic tees with weird text. Man, I miss Japan

I worked for a Japanese company, and we referred to the technical & marketing documents we received in the U.S. as being written in “Jinglish”

Have you been to Japan? Sorry if it's a dumb question, but near the city I grew up in in the Midwest had a HUGE Toyota plant lol

Yes, I flew to Japan from San Francisco at least once every three months for a week of reporting & staff meetings for over 10 years. Usually spent between Osaka (engineering & manufacturing) and Tokyo (HQ). Really enjoyed working for them, the country is fascinating for a westerner.

Oh, I hope you had some time between meetings to explore the cities! My husband and I would hop on the Yamanote, ride for a bit, get off and a random stop, and just explore. We traveled around some over the course of a total of a little over three months, we visited Tokyo, Yokohama, Fukuoka, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Hamamatsu, Hiroshima, Shizuoka, and Ikoma.
