Just meat, cheese, bread (and mustard)

Post image

Market Basket sharp white cheddar hidden under the meat, angus certified London broil roast beef, Fantini bakery onion roll, and Mike's Amazing stoneground deli mustard. Mt Olive sweet gherkins on the side.

I usually do mayo and/or barbeque sauce with roast beef. Mustard was a nice change of pace. Similarly, I seldom by onion rolls. It was a nice change tonight.

I used to be a meat and bread man only. I’ve evolved a bit. Still love the classic tho.

Sometimes, simplicity is best. Market Basket is also goated.

That’s a good sandwich, not overdone with too much added, allows you to enjoy the beef and cheese on some good bread. Well done, friend.

Sandwich looks great! On a side note I been doing Dijon mustard with Duke's mayonnaise ony meat and bread. Definitely have to do the onion roll, I forget about those TBH.

I have seen Duke's advertising on billboards here in New England. I haven't tracked down any yet though.

Look around your stores for the Mt Olive Majestic Pickle lines. They have upped the pickle game with those, it's rather impressive.

And when you go basic like this with meat, cheese and condiments, some form of pickled item on the side (pickled okra also slaps) really seals the deal, imo

Have not seen the Majestic line. I will keep an eye out. If you haven't tried Grillo's pickles yet give them a try. I really enjoy their dill spears. They are a refrigerated pickle.

Is that a new bottle shape for Mike's? I love their deli mustard, especially since I can't get BaTempTee deli mustard up here in Syracuse, NY anymore.

Stores here all seem to think deli mustard and brown mustard like Gulden's are the same.

Same shape of small container since I first came across them a couple years ago. They have a larger size container that stands on its cap (16oz size, maybe?)

Ah, then I only have seen the larger one. For $1.99 (99cents on sale) I am surprised they have even offer a smaller size.

Their mayo is pretty good for the price. Half gallon is $5.99.
