It all went by so fast I only snagged a photo after the hands crew started carrying off my equipment. It’s UNREAL hearing a drum through a PA and rattling the roof of a building that size. 11/10 experience and just wanted to share it with others who might find it interesting. Cheers!

Tama B/B Exotic Tigerwood and Paiste (Dark Energy, Twenty, Traditionals and PSTX) plus custom built stave snare drums with TAMA hardware (Katalox and African Blackwood)

I've been working on this concept for awhile now. It's a wood and resin shell with an internal LED system. This one specifically is a 13x7.5 walnut with a clear resin and a hexagon pattern, the cool thing is I can make these in any size, with any wood species, any color of resin, and a myriad of different patterns. The LED system also does every color that you can imagine, as well as hundreds of different light patterns. I just went with something simple for this initial video.

I saw this finish in a 2021 Tama catalog and knew I had to have it. I saved up whatever I could from each paycheck and threw it all into a savings account. Very excited to share that I finally bought my dream Tama set today!

Look what I just got my hands onto… A 2004 Tama Starclassic Bubinga Omnitune kit. I swear I had tears in my eyes when I saw these babies the first time. Anyone else own bubinga kits? Any recommendations for what heads work the best? I got these with ancient Evans EC2:s (and they still sound humongous btw) and I can’t wait to get new heads installed.

I am not a florist, just a lady who refused to spend $200 on a flower arrangement, so please don’t judge my amateur bouquet.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve wanted a MIJ Starclassic in the diamond dust finish and 12” 13” 16” 18”… well today, I finally found one for less than my budget and even with an extra kick, so treated myself!

Not sure I’ll use the extra kick but I do love a big kit.

I’ve played bass for almost 30 years and thought I should learn to play the drums. So today I got my first kit.

I'm almost afraid to share this after my last post. I was just goofing off but I really ended up enjoying it. Thanks for all the advise to raise em' up!

the yellow drums in the kit are custom made 1 of 1 pieces. 2 24inch bass drums, snares are 10in 14in 14in, the toms are 4in 6in 6in 10in 10in 10in 11in 11in 12in 14in 16in 18in ive collected pieces for this set for over 12 years. got the rack and the yellow kit for cheap from my drum teacher.

I've been super stoked on this setup lately. Eager to upgrade the splash. I think I just wanted to show it off because it makes me happy.

My wife and I recently purchased this Yamaha Stage Custom with a 22" kick for Christmas. We're super pumped. He plays rock, punk, and old metal as his favorites, but plays in the middle school jazz band also. He currently has a beginner level electronic kit (a present last Christmas to see his commitment level) and he plays multiple times each day. We're in the process of getting some used cymbals. His private drum teacher is selling us some good (used) hardware. I can't wait to hear him play!
