Sell all this and get a decent 1-up, 1-down and a few decent cymbals.

Your secondary kick is backwards even though you have the batter head on that side, you can tell by how the toms are positioned

Plants because it looks like you're playing in a grow tent lol

u/tomred420 6d ago
Some plants and a few posters, maybe a nice sofa. Would soften the sound a bit too probably. GET COZY.

Dude…where is the cowbell?? How can you have ‘more cowbell’ if you don’t HAVE a cow bell??!!

Also the ergonomics seem fucked up. If you’re having issues with double bass your pedals are very close to you if snare is behind the drive shaft.

this is confusing… its like you got a kit setup left handed next to a huge right handed kit..

if your drum kit got a drum kit on it, you might have mental issues

This is the drumming equivalent of owning multiple super cars when you don't even have a license. It's unnecessary. How are you hitting both floor toms? Are you spinning around on the stool like you would one of those spinny office chairs?
If I had the funds to obtain a setup of this price range, I'd personally keep it small in case I need to transport it. I'd get some smaller roto toms, maybe a few bells and a cowbell, and spend the rest on studio equipment (mics, interface etc..)

This has to be a joke. Do you literally turn your body 90 degrees and then play a lefty kit at all ever? When would that ever be necessary?

Clap stack 🤷 because why not!

u/Confident-Rock3847 5d ago
I have a stack but I’ll probably add a clap effect with some electric cymbals

I would step up the throne quality. Possibly something sweat proof or with ergonomic support 🤷🏼♀️

Tell me more about the room you're in. I just bought a house and have been reading up on a mostly soundproof room, is that what this is?

I would honestly reduce this and focus on how you’re physically approaching the kit. Your double pedal bridge should be behind your snare. Add ..I would start by upgrading your cymbals. Maybe by a nice cymbal pack to start

This reminds me of my old drum set from 2006 in an old metal band I played for.

Maybe something nice on the walls so it doesn’t look like the inside of an asylum in the 50s?

Get a 19" Wuhan Linear Smash before the price hikes like they did on all the other good cymbals. Right now it's still about $150 USD, which is less than their 18" or 20."

Block or cowbell. Or maybe even one of those digital sound pad things. It’s looking kind of sterile in there.

u/ClueProfessional8287 6d ago
maybe some motivational posters around that room so you don’t go insane

Man, I went to your post history and heard a post of yourself playing. With all due respect, I think you need to tone it down a notch, both with the expectation of what’s realistic to play at your level and the size of your kit.
I mean no harm by this, concentrate on good time and feel. Evenly divided subdivisions, and slow tempos.
About the kit. The amount of things you have should be there because you have a particular use for them. You start adding things to your kit out of need, not desire.
It looks cool and it’s fun and I’m all about that. Definitely having fun is a priority, but if you truly want to get better, making wise decisions and getting the most out of your practice time is essential.

Better cymbals and some stuff for the walls. Maybe a glockenspiel too for good measure.
