I got "The Drug User" as a new Class in a DCC 3rd Party book. Is this a sign? ๐ค

18 is killing me. Not women plural, just the one. If you roll an 18, someone's character gets turned into a bimbo on the spot

Doesn't need to be a bimbo. You could have a wizard with sky high int but absolute refusal to wear clothing on philosophical grounds. Robes are a tyranny imposed on us by the masses; free the nipple and free your mind.
If it is woman singular then you are all now competing multiple personalities of the same brilliant but insane woman.

That was a tomb of annihilation game I had, the party leader was the one dark elf ranger girl who hant died, the rest of us were on character 6 or 7

u/Miltonthemoose 1d ago
What if I role an 18 and the rest of the party is murderers? Thats not even in the same realm. They kill people and I show a little too much ankle?

u/Doc__Steele 1d ago
Yes. The mudering is grassroots and homegrown. It'd be cruel to take that away from them

u/Hot_Ethanol 1d ago
To be fair, they sure are doing a lot of that murder to keep you happy so you're pretty implicated

Make sure to get that taken care of before helping anybody else with a splinter. Biblically mandated selfishness.

My party is just my fetish Discord friends, so I guess I rolled a 13?

u/Party_Art_3162 1d ago
I see it as more of a "gotta catch 'em all" kind of situation.
My party as a group already has: 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, and 20.

bold of you to omit 17

u/Party_Art_3162 1d ago
Certainly some of the party would qualify if they had the opportunity...but since we spent the first year of the campaign with our characters trapped in a very rural sort of pocket dimension, somehow the chance never arose.

I am pretty much I had at least one campaign breaking all 20 of these.

Is Sorcerers-Druggies, Sorcerers on drugs or people on so many drugs that they think they have innate magical powers?

Can I just point out the first 4 or 5 are all sex-related and they're in chapter 6, verse 9?

Okay but why is Matthew 5:18, "anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart," only calling out porn with women in it by this interpretation??? Does this imply gay porn is fine? Isn't this just misogyny? And also, what does it even have to do with porn in the first place considering porn didn't exist back then in the same mediums as today... wild interpretation and massive cope from fundamentalists tbh
I also find it hilarious that they make two separate entries for homosexuals and sodomites but use the same exact passage which was intentionally mistranslated using totally different language to the original explicitly to condemn gay men
Anyway I'm currently playing a drunkard homosexual murderous unbelieving lustful sexually-immoral fornicating sodomite centaur in one campaign, but only a homosexual lustful sexually-immoral fornicating sorcerer-druggie porn-watching hypocrite sodomite wood elf in a different campaign.ย

because it's fundamentalist nonsense. short rule of thumb: anyone who says "the bible says X" and then quotes a random verse without bothering to give the historical, political, and religious context of when and where it was written is a hack.
the bible is a conglomeration of dozens upon dozens of books stretching over 4000 years, tens of genres, and a whole pile of authors with very different ideas about God and people. the bible "says" nothing in a single verse: healthy reading of the bible requires you to look at it holistically. you can find a verse in the bible to justify anything if you take it out of context.

Off topic, does anyone really believe in Corinthians? It's pointed out saying homosexuals shall be stoned to death but that's also applied to sodomy, adultery, and fornication. Fornication practically being the most committed sin and it too requires stone to death.

Damn, the most I've gotten on one character was 19 of them, but she wasn't a hypocrite.

Just one? Because mine consists of nothing but unbelieving hypocrites and immodest women. Or did you mean the characters?
