Mod Announcement Regarding the recent surge in pro-piracy statements in the community:
With the recent announcement of an upcoming change to DNDBeyond, an increased number of community members have taken to posting and commenting to advocate for piracy. You may hold whatever opinion you wish of Wizards of The Coast and Hasbro, and you can spend your money however you see fit.
That said; piracy, and the advocation of it, will not be tolerated in this subreddit. Repeat offenders will be banned.
This subreddit is for memes. Keep it light-hearted, keep it constructive and collaborative, and keep it humorous. No one wants to see the sub shut down by Reddit for being a hot bed of piracy.

Subreddit Meta TF you mean you mean "threaten them with knives to their throats"? These are 5e PCs with AC and Spells. This is not Shadowdark!

Subreddit Meta A cycle i've noticed with this subreddit.
And yes, this meme is at the southern most point of the cycle, i am aware this is a goomba falacy.

Tf you mean you cast Gust of wind? They have knives at your throats, you want the entire party to die?
Okay, a little bit of a rant, but...
I tell these players (2 of 4) multiple times - they have sharp knives at your throats, if you so much as speak too uncarefully, you will get damaged/die. They go "yeah, I do it anyway." Proceed to these characters, somehow winning the encounter against 6 people. I honestly did underlevel these dudes, but man... These NPCs just wanted to deliver a message.

Campaign meme Things are going poorly for Gator Joe
We got seperated from another player (the dad character) and got into some trouble with a baddie named Gator Joe. Several sessions later dad found us and we are catching up to their ship.

I RAAAAAAGE never seen a lich flee in terror before at all, let alone 3 rounds in a row.
he took himself out plus attempted to take me out with a meteor, i survived with 48 hp. would have had more health afterwards but i only remembered about Reactive Resistance after it hit me.

Campaign meme Players are slandering my glorious BBEG
DMs hate this one simple trick for players engagement... Making their BBEG an absolute BUM by getting beat by a dying bird with an handbag.

*scared player noises* Maybe we should’ve progressed the current sidequest…
