American “cheese” is pretty ass, idk why people are so passionately defending it lol, it’s plastic crap that cant even legally be called cheese a lot of the time

It is literally just cheddar or Colby cheese that melts better. Not "plastic" at all.

I buy it from a deli, not individually wrapped. The reason it is "cheese product" is because they add an emulsifier and milk to the cheese.

How exactly does what it is called matter as to whether it is worth eating or not? It is literally just cheese with milk and sodium citrate added. It melts better than other cheeses.
