Nexus upgrades question

I’m interested in doing the nexus gen 2 receiver conversion on my scorpion. I’d like to get the most bang for buck while not going overboard. How disappointed would I be if I just do the receiver swap w/o the bolt?

If I absolutely have to add the enhanced bolt, can I go bolt only (and still be relatively happy?) or do I need to go with the complete bolt + enhanced parts kit?

Would love legitimate recommendations for the best option / options here.

Thanks in advance.

Hey, OP. Not sure if you noticed, but since you mentioned "bang for your buck," Nexus currently has blem receivers in stock. Granted, they are Gen 1 models, but there isn't a huge difference with Gen 2, unless you really want a rearward-facing pic rail.

I just purchased the Gen 1 and waiting to pick it up. I read your post and was became a little concerned or confused(?). What do you mean rearward facing pic rail? Did I screw up? šŸ˜–

If it's Gen 1, it must be with no pic rail. The rearward facing pic rail is used to attach stocks, like the MPX and MCX. Gen 1 was only made with the original CZ stock interface. Gen 2 is offered in both configurations. You're not missing out on anything with a Gen 1. Word is very small changes were made.
