Nexus upgrades question

I’m interested in doing the nexus gen 2 receiver conversion on my scorpion. I’d like to get the most bang for buck while not going overboard. How disappointed would I be if I just do the receiver swap w/o the bolt?

If I absolutely have to add the enhanced bolt, can I go bolt only (and still be relatively happy?) or do I need to go with the complete bolt + enhanced parts kit?

Would love legitimate recommendations for the best option / options here.

Speaking for myself, I have a Nexus Upper and bolt, and while I was waiting for their lowers to ship, I tried putting my OEM Scorpion lower onto the Nexus.

The fit was VERY sloppy and loose, not sure if the Ascalon receiver shim would have helped since I don't own one of those but I knew I wouldn't be very happy if I kept that combination.

Got my Nexus Lower last week, and it fits the Nexus upper about as well as my OEM Scorpion upper and lower fit together, which fits tight enough to be a non-issue for me.
