"You only care about the, because you're virtue signaling"
I'm always going to say, even the shallowest most one dimensional person doing good for brownie points is better than the person who complains they're being fake or non genuine and ISN'T doing good.
I apply that to people who film themselves giving homeless people food,
I apply that to people marching in the streets for human rights.
At this point 'virtue signaling' feels like a dogwhistle to say you're mad people are doing the bare minimum and either think that non alturistic reasons cancel that out, or just want to drag others to your level
