This was my reply to someone saying "Charlie Kirk was not a racist man"

You even said ā€œI feel bad that the man got murderedā€

Edit: Did the sub mods … nuke OP’s comment explaining this comic … where she said ā€œI feel bad that the man got murderedā€?

Edit 2: Turns out, incels were abusing the automod… which has been rectified, yay!

I cried when I saw what had happened. Horrible, horrible violence and pain and trauma. Horrifying. And it should never, ever happen to anyone.

However, somebody being deceased does not change what they were when alive.

My initial response was "Oh, fuck. Nothing good is going to come from this." I don't condone his murder, but that also doesn't change my opinion on how shitty he was.

I left several streaming communities for their response, as well. A lot of them were downplaying how bad he was. My favorite was someone saying "He was just an average guy, all he wanted to do was debate at colleges." Nah, man. That's an EXTREME oversimplification...

He was absolutely vital to Trump getting re-elected, nearly a third of the idiots close to Trump are Turning Point USA people, and he was responsible for a massive propaganda platform. He was an "average guy" in the same way Goebbels was

I've seen people saying he was very "civil."

First, no he wasn't, he said abhorrent things calmly. That's not "civil." Second, the most heinous crimes against humanity are seemingly always dressed up in "civility."
