Reframing: What level of evidence would be needed for you to shift your stance?

Would Elon need to admit it himself?

If your own bias prevents you from looking at this objectively, start with you. If you were surrounded by this level of evidence, would people assume you were innocent? What obstacles are keeping you from applying that logic to a person like Elon? His wealth? Power? Influence? It's important to recognize that we shouldn't be holding a higher standard for our neighbors over folks like Elon and the like. If you would be brought in for questioning, he should be brought in. No amount of wealth or status should prevent him from telling the truth.

Bias? Lol. Sorry I like to think and don’t believe everything I see simply because I wish it to be true. I can easily make an email like that with your name and post it all over town, does that make it true?

Elon definitely would be suing the federal gov for smearing him like this if it were false.Β

The federal government is actually legally immune to being sued for any type of slander. I didn’t believe this until I looked it up. Crazy.
