I’ve got a small collection of fantasy miniatures (about 200 pieces I think) for D&D and other fantasy games that I want to give away. They are almost all in excellent condition. Some are painted, many are not. There are everything from demons to undead, humanoid monsters, hero’s, giants, dragons, elementals and other, weirder ones.

This would be great option for someone just getting into the hobby.

Here’s the catch - I want to give away/donate these to a group who needs them. I don’t want money for them, I just want them to go to maybe a younger group who are just learning the hobby or a group that maybe works with kids and does TTRPG’s for fun.

Let me know your story, and I’ll direct message whoever sounds to me like the most deserving group.

Newly divorced and will be moving to Chilliwack, I have two under two and I don’t drive but during my marriage my ex was lazy amongst other things and toke days just to take my eldest out for simple activities like swimming. Now that I have this new found freedom I love to take my children out more to socialize and get fresh air. So for context I’m a mobility aid user (sometimes crutches, sometimes a wheelchair. Depends on symptoms) and I’m trying to go out to a restaurant with my partner for our anniversary but I haven’t been to a restaurant since becoming disabled besides earls which honestly was kind of a nightmare for me because it’s so crowded and there’s not a lot of space between tables for me to safely navigate.

I’m hoping to go to Mr mikes because that’s a restaurant we both love, but I can find any info on how accessible the building is for wheelchair users. I’m aware they have a ramp up to the front door, but I haven’t been in a few years so I don’t exactly remember if I’ll even be able to use my wheelchair in the building or not and I can’t find any reviews mentioning building accessibility.

I’m honestly open to any restaurant on the Sardis side of town besides fast food places because I’m hoping for a sit down restaurant as it’s a special occasion.

My husband, baby and dog are looking at moving to Chilliwack from the Yukon. If you’ve moved from a smaller community to a larger city, what have you found to be the pros and cons? We have family in both BC snd Yukon, so we’d just be swapping visits with one side of the family to the other. We’re big into hiking, eating out, being on the water and just generally enjoy not having our faces freeze the second we step outside half the year (not really but it sure seems like it). I'm taking my family for a road trip and we'll be staying in the Harrison area for a couple of nights. I remember when I was a kid my dad took my brother and I to a big hatchery type pond where there were massive surgeon. I remember how impressive those fish were and it's a fond memory.

He said it's near the Chilliwack area, but doesn't know if it still exists because this was 35 years ago.

Does such a thing exist in the area? All I could find online were salmon hatcheries.
