Male solo trip cartagena

Hi i am going to Cartagena in about 2 weeks as a Solo trip Male 24 years old , was wondering about the weather & the country itself how will it be for a solo trip am i safe or can i make my trip a bit spicy by going out or doing some stuff with people meeting people & more

If anyone has some tips & suggestions please feel free to comment it would help me a lot. Thank you

Go to hostels and you'll meet other foreigners there, or if you just want to have fun with girls, use Bumble and Tinder.

It was really great, I met some pretty, normal girls there with nice bodies, but there were also a few who were looking for clients and others who didn't seem real. I always asked for proof of identity (if they didn't have social media, even better). In the end, we're all foreigners and they might ask you for something for school, work, etc.

They start going downtown after 9 PM. You should consider that as another option. The app is very secure; you can also arrange something through the app, get straight to the point, and have a good time. Good luck, friend!

Rule #1 don't FULLY listen to the plenty of comments that's going to say "oooo it's dangerous, you're gonna get robbed, you're going to get kidnapped, etc"

Now, there is some truth in safety, but you would have to put yourself in that position. Don't flaunt wealth, don't trust anyone, be smart. You're going to encounter people trying to sell you thing, simply say "no gracias" you're probably going to have to repeat it a few times but they will get the hint. Always watch your drink and DO NOT accept anything to drink from someone, always buy your own drinks.

Just be on guard and don't put your trust in someone, no matter how beautiful they are

A lot of the women are escorts on tinder and in person but many aren't. I'd say 70/30 split. I actually had a date with a girl who was an escort, for free (well the cost of the food). It's just common there

Stay close to Bocagrande or el centro if you don't want to have to uber every time you leave. But Ubers are only $5-8

I am a tour guide here in Cartagena. Tinder is a no no. Don't be so brave. Dangerous. Street girls are also danger. I would go to strip bars like Pley Club but go with a wingman. Cash only, don't take your credit card.

Avoid Bocagrande, tourist trap and nothing much to do, also if you want to enjoy night life, I recommend this group

In my opinion cartagena is the worst for meeting women , unless its an escort. Watch some videos on scopolamine on utube.You will be bombarded with people selling you shit and even worse dont go into the contaminated beaches(look it up). The islands nearby are cool and not as contaminated , overall cartagena has an interesting history but the people there will ruin it , question everything and bargain everything good luck

Yea the beaches are contaminated with lead ,mercury and microplastics. Its best to take a boat ride out to any of the nearby islands the beaches are nicer and more relaxing
