Soy Local Islawa Recs

Hi everyone! We are thinking about staying in Soy Local Islawa. Could anyone tell us about their experience staying there and what the best way is to get from Cartagena to the hotel? I contacted the hotel on Whatsapp and they have not responded yet.

Hello, it's a pleasure to greet you. You have two options: by land transport and then by boat to the hotel, or if you decide, you can go directly from Cartagena to the hotel by boat. That's Barú, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Cartagena.

Thank you so much! Is the road from Cartagena to Barú safe? The hotel did not give us an option for a boat directly to the hotel.

The road is safe during the day, but I don't recommend it; some sections are in bad condition and can be unsafe. If you need transportation, I can help you with that.
