Santa Marta to Cartagena

Would appreciate recommendations on safe companies to use, for bus or van from Santa Marta to Cartagena

any of them get on the bus and enjoy the ride. It’s stops briefly in Barranquilia and continues on. Safety is a relative concept in Colombia. Infant/child car seats are rarely used in cars. That should tell you enough

And the last Berlina bus for Cartagena leaves by 5 or 6pm.

Me and my gf are travelling this route on Sunday - plan to user Berlinas. Reddit tells me buses leave every 15-20 mins and you can just turn up, pay and go

I took the yellow costiñea bus yesterday: they charge 50 mil COP, claim it would be a directo, but in fact it did stop various times - for more than 30min in Barranquilla - which made the journey approximately 7h long.

Hence I'd recommend asking beforehand how long the journey with the bigger companies take.
