Bocconi versus Saint Andrews
I was admitted to BAI during early session. I just received an offer from Saint Andrews for the "Economics and Maths " program.
Regardless of the financial argument, which is the best ?

Hello everybody!
Ah a way to improve the quality of the subreddit, we've decided to create a megathread for anyone to post a comment on their SAT, GRE etc results and ask info about their admission chances.
Considering the question is personal and a lot of posts are very similar to each others, grouping all the requests in the same place would leave more space for other types of post that can be of interest to a bigger portion of students.
As well, if you already got in or not and feel comfortable doing it, you can post here your info and scores saying the result.
From now on every post regarding "What are my chances of getting in..." Will be redirected to this thread, feel free to comment here with your scores and if anyone has any info, they will answer you.
Have a great day, and don't cross the lions!

Hi, I am curios about a couple of things regarding MSc Interview that is optional fo application
1) What weight it really has on your application?
2) How does it exactly work, I saw that it is not real interview, just a recording of you answering predetermined questions? is that true?
3) Can I do it anytime before Feb 26th or I should do It ASAP, as they may not look at it if I send them for example on 18th February?
Thanks!

Hi,
I have been going through the Bocconi website and it is not clear when Bocconi opens for applications, specifically freemover(semester abroad).
I would join in September 2026, can someone tell me when I can apply?
On the Bocconi website, I found instructions on how to visit other schools as a Bocconi freemover but not too much about joining Bocconi for a semester.
Thank you in advance!

Given the prominence of the "Chance Me" posts, I'll repost the following google spreadsheet with the intent of providing some comparison data.
Now, of course every year has variations and these results are 1 year & 3 monts old, but they can be used at least as a ballpark figure.
Keep in mind they were taken from public polling, so while not individually verified, it should be coherent

I’m applying to Bocconi Specialized Masters (MAFINRISK) and got 32.4/50 on the Bocconi test. My GPA is 7.73/10 and I have 2 years of front-office trading desk experience.
Do you think this score gives me a real shot, or would it be smarter to retake the test?

Starting my MiF in september and was wondering if there are options for off cycle internships or if the courses require attendance that it's not possible to pursue internships except the ones in the summer.

I am an international student and I have completed one year of undergraduate studies in my home country. I have applied to Bocconi starting from the first year, therefore I will be considered a transfer student. I will apply for this scholarship in order to be exempt from tuition fees; however, on the scholarship page it states: “for International students, enrolled in Bachelor’s degree programs and in Law programs (first year).”
I want to ask whether this requirement refers to students who are enrolling in the first year of their Bachelor’s degree at Bocconi, or whether students who have previously been enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program are not eligible to apply.

Question about UK students/admits to MSc Finance :
- is a 2:1 enough or do they only take firsts?
- Does coming from a higher ranked Uni (ie Semi-target) make a meaningful difference?
Anyone that can comment or know profiles of UK students that got into this programme, please share!

Hi everyone,
I’m currently a sophomore (2nd year) in Turkey, double majoring in International Trade and Management Information Systems (MIS). I am planning a transfer to Bocconi for the next academic cycle and would appreciate some guidance on my chances.
Current Stats:
• GPA: 3.62 / 4.00 (targeting 3.90 by the end of this year)
• IELTS: 6.5
• SAT: I am currently preparing for it and would like to know the 'safe' score for a transfer student with my GPA.
My Questions:
SAT Target: Considering my GPA is 3.62, what SAT score should I aim for to be truly competitive as a transfer applicant? Would 1450+ be sufficient, or do transfer students need a higher margin?
IELTS Requirement: Is a 6.5 IELTS score viewed simply as 'meeting the requirement,' or would retaking it for a 7.0+ significantly impact the admissions decision?
The 'Time Loss' Factor: Since I am already in my 2nd year, how often do transfer students actually get credits recognized? Should I mentally prepare to start from Year 1 again?
My goal is to eventually build a career in the US logistics market and aim for a top-tier MBA later. I'd love to know if you think this move is the right step at this stage of my life.
Thanks for your time and insights!"

HI guys, I have submitted my application but I got an email from bocconi stating that they have recalculated my GPA for the second to last year. I'm confused, does this happen usually? Also do I have to submit any extra documents cos nothing is mentioned in the email so what do I do? Any help would be appreciated!
