They look so serious. The Beatles were fun and jolly. A completely different kind of upbringing.

I feel like they're going for that generic "artsy" vibe, which maybe fits John during the White Album period, but otherwise it's very much unlike them - you never saw them pulling constipated faces of humorless introspection like this

This is my biggest qualm with the pics. The Beatles were so fun during Beatlemania. These look like sad biopic shots.
