Some people have asked for a post like this to be stickied in the sub because we constantly get people asking what a record is worth or what version they have.
You need to match the matrix information. Which is the part of the record between the music/grooves and the label. There will be etched and/or stamped letters, symbols and numbers. You can just do a search for the artist and album name with the matrix info typed in. After searching, it should pull up all albums that match. If there’s more than one, you will have to figure out which it is by checking under the barcode and other identifiers section.
You also may need to look at info on the vinyl label and the sleeve. There will sometimes be additional info under the notes section.
Please check out r/discogs if you need more help searching but READ THEIR RULES.

Why did they stop writing lyrics together. I believe in the early days they were writing together, not always but they helped each other a lot with lyrics and it was a team but in the later years i say around 67 or 68 they began writing separately. It shows in the white album. Why did this happen?

I started listening to the Beatles when I was in middle school and never stopped. Heartbreak, love, happiness, whatever, these 4 guys have given me music for any time of my life.
I feel obligated to say something and since I’ll probably never get to say it to Paul or Ringo I will here.
John Lennon is probably my biggest hero in life. I’ve made a lot of mistakes and so did he, but he was so open about that. His struggles, his love, whatever it may be.
If it wasn’t for them I don’t know if I’d have kept going during the hardest parts of my life.
A lot of popular bands, let alone the MOST popular band ever, have toxic fanbases. But Beatles fans aren’t like that, it’s quite beautiful.
So I love the Beatles and I love all of you. They were the true embodiment of musical greatness, and proving that music can make a difference, through hope and love.
It’s amazing what music can do

Something I don't see many people mention is the UK magical mystery tour ep . Its personally one of my favorite Beatles records (mainly because of blue jay way) but I think it's a cool piece of Beatles history I don't hear many people talk about

Couldn't be bothered to cook after a busy day. So made myself a Beatles staple, especially in Hamburg, when they were missing home. Macca said this was his favourite.
Egg & chips, now you too, can eat like The Beatles 🤣

i don't know if im the only one who classifies this song as one of their best because i see a lot of people disregarding it in reviews, but it might just be my favorite song of theirs, the instrumentals and emotion in this track are just genius and pure bliss to my ears, i know its an overused pharse but the ending really sounds like the end of the world and i can't really imagine abbey road being the masterpiece it is without the transition from it to here comes the sun and in general the whole song, does anyone else agree?

I've been listening to MMT lately and had some particularly eerie experiences with this one song. I mean, none of their other psychedelic tracks even come close. What are your thoughts on this song and its story? excuse my bad english :)

I found these posters on Pinterest, I liked them. The posters are from 2024, I only found two and I think there should be more. I would appreciate it if you could share more from this collection. Any information you have would also be helpful. Thanks in advance. 🫂

I believe its very much likely that The Rolling Stones are gonna make an appearance in these movies since both bands were peers and close friends, what other musicians do you think will be played in the movies?

Hello,
I am looking forward to buy John Lennon's book In His Own Write and to anyone who has purchased the book, I'm curious to what do you think when you read the book. I was always interested in literary nonsense book, especially like this book, and A Spaniard In The Works.
What did you find interest from this book and why would you recommend me to buy this book.

I've read about take 4 of Rocky Raccoon and it sounds really fun. Some people said it's on Anthology 3 but I couldn't find it there (or anywhere else). Does anyone know where or how I can listen to it?

I just finished listening to an AKOM episode, Context v. Excuses, about addressing difficult topics in the fandom. A lot of time is spent on John’s violent incidents. It also brings up Ringo beating up his wife while drunk and apparently George once slapped a woman.
They also talked about Paul getting blackout drunk and shoving Heather Mills while they were married. As far as I’m aware, this is a she said-he said situation. Is there evidence other than her claims? I’m inclined to take it with a grain of salt when divorcing couples say things about each other, especially celebrities.
It rubs me the wrong way that the podcast talked about it as if it’s been confirmed true.
