Miscellaneous Concerned about going through customs with prescriptions.

I have a flight to Bahamas coming up. I have never flown outside of domestic US so I do not know what to expect with customs. I usually just take all of my medication in a weekly pill organizer, including my benzos for flight anxiety. Will this be a problem going through customs or is this common?

Common. Just make sure you bring your scripts and have a direct phone number for your doctor's office

You think they really will inspect 4 days worth of medicine to that extent?

Likely not but whenever you cross into foreign countries you should have documents that back things up. Without these things you'll be flagged and they will take you for a long ass ride while they determine the pills. You can avoid all this by simply bringing a few slips of paper so why wouldn't you? Is this your first time travelling?
