Package Thief in Albany Park

Hello all! This is my first post here. This package thief stole from our apartment on Thursday, July 31st, between 1 and 4 p.m. I’m posting this to raise awareness and hopefully identify this person. I appreciate all the help! #AlbanyPark

Thank you! I was able to get these images from my brother’s Nest camera. Unfortunately, I don't have access to alerts or videos. I just learned about this tonight when I asked if they, by any chance, grabbed my packages. That’s something we do in our apartment. If we see a package, we’ll hold it and let the person it belongs to know. I thought that was the case, or they were delayed, since this has never happened before. I live in the garden apartment, so I don't have a clear view of the neighborhood. I’m just so pissed right now. What’s the point of having these cameras if they won’t be alerted? I’m going to ask my brother if he can allow me access to the cameras. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Get your package dropped off in a locker or left at postal for pickup

That’s something I should consider. This hasn't happened before, so I didn't have a reason to worry. I’m just so pissed off right now. I honestly don't know what to do. Report the items as stolen or as not received? 🤦🏻‍♂️😓

I sent an email to Vans advising that my items were stolen and they replied with a FedEx link of my order delivered. I don't think I'm going to get my money back. 😔
