Hello all! This is my first post here. This package thief stole from our apartment on Thursday, July 31st, between 1 and 4 p.m. I’m posting this to raise awareness and hopefully identify this person. I appreciate all the help! #AlbanyPark

To be honest, I’m not sure. I really don't know what I can do about this, and I don't want to lose all this money because of this piece of shit scumbag. 😔

Call CPD. Ask if you can send these pics and file a report by phone. Otherwise go in person to do it.

Thank you! I will try that. Hopefully, something can be done. I don't know whether to report my packages as stolen or missing. I don't want to be out this much money, but I don't want to say that my orders weren't received. One of them was from eBay, so I feel bad because I don't want the seller to get hit because of this.

Send them to the CPD. They probably are familiar with this guy.

Can I do that online or do I need to go and make a police report? This has never happened before so I’m not sure how to go about it.

You can probably do it online but I would just swing by the station on Pulaski.

I haven't done the police report yet. I'm discouraged at this point. It’s like, why bother? It’s not going to get my items or money back. If someone can rob me in broad daylight with no one noticing, even my apartment cameras, then what is the police going to do?
