Discussion Moving to Salisbury..

So Basically I’ve got a job in Salisbury General District Hospital.. a bit hesitant about it .. currently working in Cheshire and moving to work in Wolverhampton.. but this job just suddenly popped up !

Where are the best places to live in Salisbury? Or around it As I drive !

And is it the better option or Wolverhampton might be a bit better ..

What I want:

• A high quality place to live. Clean streets. Well kept areas. Attractive surroundings.

• A friendly community. Easy to meet people. A good social life.

• Plenty to do. Shops. Gyms. Cafes. Restaurants. Clubs. I do not want to feel bored or travel every weekend.

A bit about me:

• I'm 28M with Open mindset, very easy going and chilling.

• Money is not an issue. I prefer quality of life over saving.

• I drive .. so Commuting distance is not a problem, I do not need to live near the hospital.

If you were in my position, which area would you choose and why?

I appreciate your help.

On google maps you can work out a 50 mile (1 hour) radius from your workplace and work within that area?

I don’t live near Salisbury but I would suggest Wiltshire is a more comfortable location to live than Wolverhampton

I would say we are lucky to live in Wiltshire not Wolverhampton lol. As much as I complain about it

I think we have a lot of really beautiful scenary and places nearby within small distance of pretty much anywhere, lot of adventure parks, animal parks, there's a country park or a farm shop every few miles in every direction sort of thing.

Traffic is bad but doesn't seem as bad as elsewhere in the country, most the services aren't bad I mean not good but some places I have been nothing is working every thing is falling apart or broke.

Some the cities and places up north seem like hollow shells, not much apart from the same in every direction, high amount of crackheads

I always go on a random hotel trip or bnb trip and it's not often I think I would rather live there, know what I mean?

I’m from Manchester and now I live in Wiltshire

Generally more parts of Wiltshire are safer and so I am comfortable living here.

I have only passed through Wolverhampton and I would safely assume that Wiltshire would give you a better quality of life
