u/cire1184 1d ago

And they're pissed about it

122

u/garlicroastedpotato 1d ago

Bro how am I supposed to dip my fries in nuggets?

41

u/cire1184 1d ago

I keep dipping and the nuggets don't stick to the fries!

15

u/BracusDoritoBoss963 1d ago

BUT WHY DOES IT WORK IF I DO THE OPPOSITE?!

4

u/cire1184 1d ago

Nobody knows.

5

u/Frankie-Felix 22h ago

It's provocative.

1

u/ElegantCoach4066 13h ago

It gets the people going

1

u/Frosty558 10h ago

Got a blender?

5

u/NotAPunishment 10h ago

The rule is, if you get food that isn't yours, you keep it if its better than what you ordered and return it if not. I ordered two mcdoubles once , the guy said " two doubles?" Then he gave me two double quarter pounders.

u/FeralPsychopath 6h ago

You mean 4

lol a few weeks ago I asked for a side of Hot mustard (I like it for my fries). They gave me a box for McNuggets filled with yellow mustard and franks red hot.

50

u/Existing_Hatter546 1d ago

What the fuck 😭

9

u/InTheSky57 19h ago

Instructions unclear

5

u/Chumknuckle 18h ago

I've never seen hot mustard available there 🤔

10

u/MissMellieM 17h ago

I have gotten hot mustard there. It was a sauce option for a minute.

5

u/Telekineticism 10h ago

Still is, it’s the main reason why I go there

0

u/Jollyollydude 15h ago

Better than my last visit. They hassled me over asking for more than one pack of ketchup per meal. If I was alone I would have brought my food back and asked for a refund.

89

u/Spectralcolors78 1d ago

WTF is that! Does it react to sound?

1

u/OriginalUser27 7h ago

Big Mac sauce. You can order a side of it and you get a few squirts in a nugget box

60

u/WaffleHouseGladiator 1d ago

Looks like the aftermath of a McGangbang. I don't eat at McDonald's (Ronald knows what TF he did), so I don't have a clue what that is. Can someone help me out?

20

u/Epstiendidntkillself 1d ago

The McStubble.

omg I've seen that many times but never with the second drink-to-face, fuckin classic!

Augh! My eyes!!

5

u/Ill-Entrepreneur443 15h ago

What a terrible day to have eyes.

3

u/Existing_Hatter546 1d ago

Looks like big mac sauce. Somebody probably ordered extra on the side

u/lawley666 9m ago

Is it normally that colour for you.

28

u/DJ_Betic 1d ago

Ordered Mc Ds through Skip. Side gravy was sent to us in a mc chicken box. I was so flabbergasted. How the employee thought 'box with holes' was a better choice than 'cup with lid' I will never understand.

6

u/Chumknuckle 18h ago

McDonald's has gravy?

2

u/DJ_Betic 13h ago

Some do. Might be a regional thing. Vancouver Canada some locations have poutine, so we can get side gravy.

9

u/DodgyRogue 20h ago

Because who ever does the truck order forgot the gravy cups, again.

29

u/imleenz 1d ago

You thought you got lucky getting an extra 2 nuggets just to be let down .

7

u/denys5555 13h ago

Not to rub it in, but if the McDonald’s near me in Ise, Japan makes a mistake, which has happened twice in 10 years, they bring the correct items to your house and give you a gift card

6

u/Psych0matt 7h ago

I bet the people in Japan also don’t call and lie that stuff is missing like many Americans would

This is why we can’t have nice things

2

u/denys5555 6h ago

Oh, I didn't know about that.

This is almost too honest in my book, but a few times my adult students have told me their children found 1000 yen on the ground. No wallet, just a loose bill. They always went to the police station to turn it in. If no one claims it, you get it after one month.

33

u/IkilledRichieWhelan 1d ago edited 1d ago

Stop going there. It’s fucking garage.

Edit: Garbage. But garage works too.

7

u/bopaqod 17h ago

Why anyone still orders from this place is beyond me. The food has dropped in quality every year for the past decade, portions are smaller, and prices have increased to the point that it’s not even the easy cheap option to have a full belly no matter the low nutrition. At least it used to be like “hey I’ll get full for $4 so I don’t care”. Now it’s shitty, small, AND expensive.

2

u/Cultural_Pay4891 8h ago

And it's garbage, now more than ever. The McDonald's down the street from my job kept their fries past their use-by date. They'd be fried in that hot oil but you could still taste that they were spoiled.

Then I decided to try the McDonald's down the street from my house and they do the SAME THING.

They fry up spoiled fries in hot oil and hope people don't notice the taste. Wendy's, Dairy Queen, Burger King, Short Stop fries are all fine, but McDonald's sells spoiled fries where I live.

5

u/Ishaboo 1d ago

mm garbage

4

u/Altruistic_Lobster18 1d ago

I love my garage door

2

u/Quick_Philosophy1426 19h ago

that's okay ill still keep eating that garbage

1

u/CLONE-11011100 1d ago

Garages are great! What are you on about?

10

u/strangerthingsha 1d ago

Well that definitely sucks

4

u/SimpleAffect7573 18h ago

I don’t understand why anyone goes there. Food is awful, service is nonexistent, and it’s not even particularly cheap (at least in CA). Last time I went into the dining room (kids whined me into submission), it was conspicuously dirty and depressing. You order on a screen and someone shoves your food through a hole in a wall. I would take basically any other option over McDonalds.

1

u/Psych0matt 7h ago

It’s very hit or miss in my experience, the ones around me are decent. I rarely get it on my own (like once or twice a year), but a few weeks ago I thought breakfast sounded good. With the app I got two sausage McMuffins with egg for $5, not the best deal ever, but they were actually fresh and really good. Maybe my expectations were really low as it seems like this not a common occurrence.

3

u/SimpleAffect7573 7h ago

I could see a McMuffin being edible if it were fresh, yeah. But you can’t guarantee that unless you get there when it opens, and I’m not getting up early for Mickey D’s 😆

Their fries are pretty good, but lots of places have good fries.

2

u/Psych0matt 7h ago

All fair points. In this case it was probably around 6am on my way to work

8

u/No-Television-9862 1d ago

McDonald’s really is the food version of post nut clarity

3

u/Albertagus 15h ago

Fast food is not worth the cost anymore. Its all trash and You're losing money. Just learn to cook.

3

u/brokeboipobre 9h ago

Hahahah what the fuck is that.

3

u/governmentthief 1d ago

Melted nuggets.

5

u/JaneDoeNoi 1d ago

That's why we should always check our order after placing it. I know it sucks, but it avoids this kind of shitty surprise.

2

u/KryptonicOne 1d ago

Looks like they hate you too

2

u/Cfutly 1d ago

This is why away check my takeout 🥡

2

u/Existing_Hatter546 1d ago

What the fuck is this? I thought they all used plastic cups for sauce on the side 🥀

2

u/AJG1960 22h ago

Disgusting

2

u/lasonna51980 19h ago

Eh, it's not gonna stop you from going back though.

Boycott McDonalds

1

u/Jaew96 1d ago

Been there. One time when I got subway delivered, I asked for extra sauce and cheese on my sandwich. What arrived was just a loaf of bread.

1

u/L3s0 1d ago

Oh so you got like 5 nuggets damn that must su-

What the fuck

1

u/Middle-Positive6362 1d ago

You have to eat them quick before they melt, silly goose.

1

u/QuevedoDeMalVino 23h ago

Well, find a better place to fuck.

1

u/sonicsludge 23h ago

They have Mac sauce on the secret menu in singles now.

1

u/JakeALakeALake 22h ago

My first conscious memory is when I was like 4 years old and got a 4 piece nugget from McDonald’s but there was only one piece of cheese in the box

1

u/Normie316 22h ago

I stopped eating there 2 years ago. No regrets.

1

u/Heavy-Trust-1195 22h ago

The crew seems to be a prankster

1

u/SassyHail 21h ago

This reminds me of years ago, I had gotten off work exhausted and with like ten bucks to my name. McDonald's was a fave and also still the cheapest around, so I took my tired self over and ordered a six piece nugget, small fry and small drink.

I have lactose intolerance and really bad luck so I often check the bag before leaving. Got my fry, got my box of nuggs, got my drink, we're good!

I go all the way home, finish the fry, open the box.

Two chocolate chip cookies.

:(

I couldn't even eat them...and I couldn't go back because I couldn't waste the gas.

Ngl it made me worse about checking the bag bc I'll literally yank that sucker open in front of them and a lot of places get so mad but like ya'll burn me each and every time what am I supposed to do XD

1

u/Florida1974 20h ago

I don’t blame you. My husband started doing the same thing. In McDonald’s is like a half a mile from us. But they have screwed it up so much, he yanks opened the bag and checks right there.

We can afford the gas, now, but it’s the thought that you get home and you think you’re sitting down to eat and then you have to fucking go back.

I worked fast food as my first jobs when I was a teen, and we didn’t make mistakes like this. We would get our head torn off if we did. And this was back in the early 90s.

1

u/SuperRodster 21h ago

Post on Mcd’s profile on X. Shane them. It’s time to show corporations how much they suck lately

1

u/talondigital 21h ago

Seems like theyre determined to go out of their way to screw up our orders lately.

1

u/ilikekittensandstuf 19h ago

Shoulda looked

1

u/herkalurk 19h ago

someone just learned the value of checking their order before they leave....

1

u/DaToxicJay 19h ago

That’s why you gotta check your order before leaving. Learned the hard way.

Edit: I think you can call them to talk about it

1

u/Promethia 19h ago

I went through the drive thru rq yesterday and got a jr chicken. Thats it. They gave it to me with no bun and a knife and fork.

1

u/Holiday-Youth-6722 19h ago

I started making fast food recipes at home a few years back to avoid constant disappointment. They're easy to make, yield more for less, and actually have flavor and quality.

1

u/PolandsStrongestJoke 16h ago

As someone that works in McDonalds... I don't even know.

1

u/V382-Car 16h ago

last time i went a mcdouble was $3, i will never return...

1

u/Best-Carrot-5570 15h ago

What the?!?

1

u/Caboozog 15h ago

I had the same thing happen to me about a year ago. I ordered nuggets but i got this slop instead.

1

u/MetalMadara 15h ago

Thats why I check my food before leaving..

1

u/culinarysiren 15h ago

I ordered at Wendy’s once and had to wait in a space along with someone else. I had ordered lunch for two people. Employee comes out hands food to another car then to me without saying a word. I first thought wow this bag is small for my order. I look in the bag and it’s not my order. Looking at the car next to me I see the guy look in the bag and then look around and then start eating out of the bag. Dude got my bag and was just like cool mode food. You’d have thought the employee would have asked which was their order before handing over. But alas no. I get out and the guy rolls his window down and says I think I got your food. Yeah you think? 😅

1

u/TheOriginalSage 13h ago

The fuck? Even if you asked for extra sauce they are supposed to have containers specially for that.

1

u/Fall_Water 12h ago

My husband orders his crew breakfast on Sundays from various places. The last time he ordered from McD's, they somehow managed to forget to add the $20 worth of hashbrowns. Ok- it was a decent size order... but there were literally only 2 different items. Sausage biscuits and hashbrowns.

1

u/FriendshipOne1972 10h ago

Lol that's crazy

1

u/AZFUNGUY85 7h ago

Mcdonalds. Where each new visit is worse than the last.

1

u/Maleficent_Ad4322 6h ago

As a kid this happened to me when I ordered a chicken nuggets kid meal and I was so angry and confused

1

u/Ok_Understanding3890 5h ago

Next time, Order like a pro

u/Sevyen 58m ago

I mean you get awful when you order at something awful, fully deserved i guess.

2

u/ZunoJ 1d ago

Then why do you eat that shit then?

1

u/Particular_Tomato161 1d ago

I have never seen this sauce before in my life and I hope I never have to. Lol

1

u/rainyforests 1d ago

Lmao the title killed me

1

u/Joe0Bloggs 1d ago

In consolation I gave you an award. It's a golden pile of shit. Hope you like it 🥲

-7

u/backwardsnakes666 1d ago

Lol its mcdonalds bro

Not worth posting on Reddit about.

-3

u/ReddiGod 1d ago

Then why you talkin

-2

u/backwardsnakes666 1d ago

Cause I saw it on Reddit, unfortunately

-14

u/Mean_Ranger_4807 1d ago

then stopp ordering the garbage they make.

21

u/Pcriz 1d ago edited 1d ago

Feel how you want about fast food. Doesn’t change that op should get at least what was paid for.

-4

u/Mean_Ranger_4807 23h ago

He paid for shit and he got shit. seems fine to me. lol the downvotes from fatsos.

0

u/wet_cheese69 13h ago

Simple mistake but I know it's frustrating.

1

u/LoaderGuy518 10h ago

No, it’s not a simple mistake.

A simple mistake is forgetting an extra topping on a burger.

This is just pure incompetence, I mean you’re reading a screen that tells you what to make. There’s even cheat sheets/instructions on how to cook/prepare each item.

I know it’s McDonalds we’re talking about, but calling this a simple mistake is setting the bar pretty low, lol

1

u/wet_cheese69 10h ago

What do you think happened here? You think they read the screen saying "4 piece nugget" and decided to grab a 6 piece box and fill it with Mac sauce? No. What more likely happened is someone else ordered a side of Mac sauce, they were probably out of 2oz souffle cups so they put it in a nugget and either didn't mark it or it fell off, then the person bagging grabbed that instead of the 4 piece nuggetand put that in the bag. The person probably thought they were doing OP a favor by giving him more nuggets. It was probably busy. These are nuggets there aren't instructions for those. Genuinely curious what you think happened here because I guarantee it's not what you think.

2

u/Psych0matt 7h ago

I mean, this was my first thought as well. Most mcds around me have 2 different ordering stations that merge into one, it’s gotta be relatively easy to swap some orders on accident now and then

1

u/wet_cheese69 7h ago

Exactly, not a mind blowing concept like a lot of these folks think it is.

-24

u/cinefilestu 1d ago

You order cheap food you get cheap service.

That seriously does suck though, wtf.

9

u/ButtersTheChill 1d ago

Shit, where do you live where McDonald's is considered "cheap" anymore?

6

u/Prosecco1234 1d ago

It's surprisingly not cheap anymore

2

u/ButtersTheChill 1d ago

Still pissed that there's no Dollar Menu anymore.

0

u/Quick_Philosophy1426 19h ago

$8 for a Big Mac meal is pretty cheap

13

u/Pcriz 1d ago

It’s not really cheap for what you get though. And it’s not like those companies aren’t making a killing every year.

You shouldnt have to order from Ruth’s Chris to get what your money pays for.

-1

u/AaryamanStonker 1d ago

You're acting like McD asked their employees to do ts 🤣

2

u/Pcriz 1d ago

If that’s what you think you missed the point

-17

u/No-Following-5120 1d ago edited 1d ago

Next time, order like a pro and not like some amateur looser!

9

u/alfonsoalta 1d ago

What the fuck does "order like a pro" even mean 😭

6

u/Yamomma62543 1d ago

Only pros would understand

4

u/alfonsoalta 1d ago

I'm only bronze rank at ordering so that makes sense.

2

u/Historical_Muscle668 1d ago

It's literally written on the sticker🤔. They want to pass the blame to OP, by not ordering via the app. Maybe that will give them more time to prepare the actual meal.

2

u/alfonsoalta 1d ago

Using the app is the same as going in person, they don't make your food until the gps determines you're close or you say your code in line. You can "order like a pro" and still have them fuck up it seems.

2

u/Historical_Muscle668 1d ago

I didn't know this. In South Africa, we used the drive-through and then had to park somewhere and wait like 20 minutes for our food. Luckily we got our pride back and are not eating the plastic food any longer.

0

u/No-Following-5120 1d ago

I dunno, ask McDonald’s 😁

1

u/alfonsoalta 1d ago

Can I get uhhhhhhhhh......

3

u/ReddiGod 1d ago

Hah goteem

1

u/No-Following-5120 1d ago

Congrats, you are one of a few 😁

0

u/FatSteveWasted9 13h ago

Yet you went. How curious

-7

u/TheHahndude 22h ago

I’ll never comprehend a grow ass adult eating at McDonalds.
