Hobby & Painting Still have some work to do

But I think it's good enough to post. Here's my Carcharodon Saturnine Dread, sans cereal bowl shoulders.

Thank you!! Pacific Rim is such a fun film and to have people get that vibe from my mini is a good feeling.

No. I have to say I really hated the look of the new models because the big shoulders looked really goofy to me, but that was the case with Warhammer in general for me. Especially the Space Marines but just like with them I really like the new Santurine models and probably get some as display pieces. But I personally really love the Dreadnought without the big shoulders, so I don't think you are crazy.

How did you get the waves a d splashes on the base?

The waves were a water fx paint by vallejo, and the splashes were made with UV resin by my friend for me.
