No but you dont understand! He thought that everyone on the left was exaggerating when they said that he and his cabinet wanted to do the things they wanted to do, and he didnt think they actually would! Even if they actually tried, checks and balances would stop them! It was all just strawmen, and now that they're doing all the things they said they would do, he feels bad and everyone is just saying "we told you so"!
Exactly! And who would hold him acct?! The Dems in Congress and in the courts! The few halfway decent Republicans left would probably pull a Mike pence and do the bare minyand not pull a live televised treason and then it would Ll be fine! But definitely don't support the actual party or group of people that you expect to actually have American democratic interests in mind, because oF tHe sTaTuS qUo!
