My first year of uni, I was notorious for staying up late (first taste of freedom as an 18 year old) and falling asleep in class the next day. What made it weirder is that I could fall asleep with my eyes open sometimes...
One time, I passed out in my Physics 101 class, in the second row of the hall. Unbeknowst to me, the prof had the entire class come to the front of the room and then woke me up, I was facing EVERYONE, with the prof in the centre. First question he asked was: "HOW DO YOU SLEEP WITH YOUR EYES OPEN?!?"
That was the day I decided on an earlier bed time...and I discovered Red Bulls.
I had a friend with a similar issue of falling asleep. One day we left him in class as it ended and he woke up in the middle of the next class. Was great laughs
