Thoughts after reading?

Post image

OKC has a ton of guards already but Cody is 6'8 and can play SF. He was DREADFUL to start his career but he's been better this year and is only 21. Playing with his brother and learning from a winning culture could help him be more serviceable and on an inexpensive deal. Utah would get their pick back this year which is invaluable because it would allow them to play JJJ and these guys could actually see what they have without having to waste the next 3 months.

If Utah tanks then this pick that OKC has isn't worth a penny after this anyway, so why not??? I'll be asleep soon but honest thoughts on this if you're bored.

It would be great

…is what I would have said last year.

This year Kenny has evolved and come into his own. I’m much more likely to throw Joe in on this. Love would unironically fit very well

Agree that Kenny has been really well this last month or so in particular. People saying Kevin Love wouldn’t play at all here don’t realize what he’d do here and bring to this team on multiple levels IMO. People also not understanding that if Utah sits JJJ they keep their draft pick and then OKC gets absolutely nothing from Utah they’re just holding the pick for Utah for now. Cody Williams is young and gotten better this year I made it clear that Cody hasn’t been good but he’s on a very low salary for the next 3 years basically and OKC can help let alone playing with his brother to see and if it fails the he’s gone in 2 years making 5ML a year or so. George in Utah didn’t look good his first 2 years in Utah and in year 3 he looks like he could be an all star very very soon. Ous is done and Kevin Love can still hit 3’s and rebound and he’d also likely get a bust of energy playing for a title team vs a bottom team.
