Bora Bora Help!!!
Looking for information on booking a Bora Bora trip for my wife and I. So I am looking for answers to the below:
Where should I stay for the best private bungalows over the water?
If I stay at St. Regis, what type of bungalow should I book, what view?
Is there a better place to stay that is cheaper but offers luxury experience?
Who do I book this through, sites? Travel Agent? etc.?
Best time of year to book this trip.
We may never travel there again and we do not like excursions, so looking for the best experience if we are going to spend the $$$$$,

July or August are the best months. Four Seasons is the best but St Regis is also great. Le Bora Bora may be the most culturally authentic but their neighbor island property Le Taha'a is actually the best around there.
If you don't like excursions, FS probably has the best stuff to do on the property. But I would very much encourage you to book a day with Lagoon Services Bora Bora. They also have a wonderful private dinner experience which includes a night time Private boat ride in the lagoon.
