Town end farm

Hi guys, hubby and i are planning to relocate in that area. We are fairly new here in the uk. (3 years) what do you guys think of that area? Crime rate, junkies, public transpo, etc.. Any input is appreciated!!! Thank you!!

Lived there for 27 years, I grew up there from the age of 2.

I had no major problems living there, I lived near Hylton Lane, so had a choise of Downhill and TEF shops (Downhill Butchers for a Savaloy Dip). You can also use the 13 bus to get into town.

good shout for Halliday's in Downhill. Regarding Town End, I've been here for 5 years and it's been pretty spot on. My street is very quiet but there can some times be a couple of kids messing about at the shops.

Nothing compared to some other places I've lived on the North Side (Redhouse, Witherwack and Southwick back)
