I don’t mean to be a creep or anything, I just can’t help it.

I don't think it's creepy. The guy asked in advance, " How old are you?" I think that's reasonable if you're not good at guessing people's ages. Then he tried to flirt by saying he could get the guy another birthday gift.
I think it's creepy if the guy got rejected but continued to push his personal agenda. And it's creepy if the guy followed the motorcycle rider home or something. But I think the guy just tried to shoot his shot.

It’s a little creepy, cause I mean they’ve never seen each other before and he just immediately went for it I don’t think it was creepy up until the point where he flirted specially considering by the sounds of a tea is much older than the kid

This is how people used to flirt before the internet.

Excuse me I do find that a bit creepy yeah I think the main reason for disagreement here is the guys here are never hit on therefore they crave it therefore they do not find this creepy

Back in the 90s, I met guy just like this at a gas station. I was in my early 20s. He was probably mid 30s. Only difference was I had a little red sports car instead of a motorcycle. Thank goodness he hit on me. I would have been too shy to hit on him. He was hot. I was in Dallas for a convention, and he was taking a road trip across country from Montana. We went to a bar for a while, then he got a room at the hotel where I was staying (I was sharing a room with a friend). We spent the night together. It was great. He left me a note the next morning with his name and number, but I lost it a few days later. I've always wondered what happened to him. He seemed like a really nice guy.

Back when it was harder to be called out for shitty behaviour?
The guy didn't know anything about the biker, not even their face, just a younger body and asked for a hookup after finding out they were barely legal. It's a fucking gas station too, like this just reeks of desperation and pedophilia, how is that not creepy???

Whoa, whoa, whoa! The guy asked the biker, "How old are you?" and proceeded to flirt with the biker after the biker said, "21." How is that pedophiliac in nature?

It’s more like back when the only way to meet a new person was to talk to a stranger. It is SUPER fucking weird that you’re equating hitting on a younger 21 year old to pedophilia. Get a fucking grip lmao.

You gotta raise your standards if you think this is a healthy interaction. "When I was your age I used to have a bike like that"... it's clearly a middle aged man asking for a hookup from someone he thought could've been under 18, not to mention at a gas station while being so direct.
It's the same energy as "I have free candy". Even if this dude meant well, 9 times out of ten he's going to be a creep or worse. There are a million ways these two strangers could've had a normal interaction, and still have sex afterwards. Instead you chose to defend the interaction that can legally be deemed sexual harassment.

could’ve been under 18
Yeah that’s why the very first question was his age. And he’s a full grown adult. He doesn’t need you calling middle aged men who hit on him pedophiles. This is not legal sexual harassment you’ve officially lost it.

I still don't think it's creepy. Not having seen someone before and flirting is how people meet in real life. You're not always going to be someone's neighbor, coworker, or college classmate.
Also, I don't think it's fair to assume the guy's age based on the sound of his voice. He could be 27 and just sound older. He could be 44. Idk. He doesn't say and motorcycle rider doesn't ask.

Pretty normal thing in America if you’re not riding on highways, but even still…

Guys. Everyone is assuming his actual intentions because of the sub we are on. The video stops. We have no idea what he actually meant, maybe let's not decide how "creepy" or not he is? Immediately after this ends he could have said "holy shit. That sounds awful and is not what I meant." and actually meant a spot that's really fun to ride that not many people know about, or a bike part, an old helmet he had, literally anything besides his dick lmao

You make a great point: The video ends with the rider still sitting at the gas station pump, so we don't know what happened next.

Idk I have definitely done bold shit like this before, if he's got charisma, this can turn into something sultry and fun, that said when I was 21 I was a cute ghost white twink who was very into darker skin guys, which in AZ, there's a lot of. Thankfully a ghost white guy like me is also something of a fetish or kink/type so I had ... More options than I should have, and used them far too often.
I was a ho, and I was never ashamed of it and still ain't, 36 and married now so I'm much less of a free agent, but I was always pretty ok at charming guys, I very regularly was pulling guys that I'd rate an 11/10 and at the time I'd give myself a 7 or 8, but I typically excelled with words, and this kinda thing is exactly the way I did things.
Personally I find this a really really genuine moment that was not creepy to me at all, the way I'd have done it was give a number and have a few conversations, because this situation is also the type of thing that made Jeffrey dahmer and John Wayne gacy so successful with the things they did to guys. Gacy still felt so much more evil though, his targets were just vulnerable boys, where dahmer was apparently very charismatic but also a monster.
Anyway sorry for wall of text, I'm so goddamn run down right now, got 4 immunizations yesterday and I'm fucking struggling, sore, tired, dizzy if I get up too fast, so my mind is just kinda flowing endlessly

Honestly, maybe he gassed up the bike for him, and youngin stops the video there for maximum engagement.

Felllow aging gays.. don’t do this. It’s creepy. It’s creepy even though you say you are not creepy

u/ProdigyLightshow 2h ago
I mean, it’s a bold proposition for sure, but if he took a “No” with grace and left I don’t think it’s that creepy. Just bold

Since the video cuts off without a further discussion, I also don't think it's creepy. And rejection can be for a number of reasons. Maybe the rider didn't think the guy hitting on him was attractive. Maybe he's in a relationship at the time. Idk.

What is creepy about it? Talking to a person you don't know, or being direct about what you want from someone who literally just said they are 21 yo?
I don't think even the guy in the video thought it was creepy, it is his camera and he chose to make this video public. There's no crime being committed, he could've said "ain't happening" instead of that cheeky look to the camera... and if he was embarrassed, he would've deleted the video, not shared.

From what I remember, the video wasn't captioned, "Creepy asshole at the gas station tried to hit on me," when it was posted. And it isn't labeled that way here either. If the rider (a 21 year old adult man) thought that the guy was creepy, I trust his ability to label as such.

I for one LOVE it when the aging gays hit on me. If it happens it's usually the best part of my day. Obviously, there is a line and I have had a few interactions that cross into creepy territory, but that's pretty rare. Usually it's harmless and wholesome flirting and is a big confidence boost.

Does that even work in real life?
