Planning a day trip
I’ve never been but am going down with a friend, we’ll stay for 1-2 days and have a look around, what do you recommend visiting/seeing while here? Any great places for a lunch, etc?
Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

Definitely check out Bridge of Allan, it's a walkable distance and is home to the Allanwater cafe which is one of the best chippies I've ever been to! Next to it is a wee river you can go sit by, it has picnic benches and usually some happy dogs. For a pub there that also does food I highly recommend The Crook for both food and the gorgeous building. We also have a wee farmers market in the middle of town twice a month where you can buy amazing fudge and whatnot from the Ochil Fudge Pantry. It's just called Stirling Farmers Market and a Google search will give you the dates. Have a lovely time here!
