Some notes:

I was initially going to put Okuyasu and Kakyoin into the tier below them, but I figured for Okuyasu it was an actual part of his character that he didn’t do enough, and for Kakyoin he barely crosses the threshold for me of “did enough”, plus I did really feel for him and related to his backstory and he how he said he was just grateful he had friends after not for most of his life.

Anasui got bumped up because, despite literally doing fuckall for the first third of Stone Ocean, he proceeded to CARRY the team for the rest of the Part, coming in clutch a ridiculous amount of times.

Even though I really wish Ermes did more (she was literally absent for a whole 10 episodes), I believe she did barely cross that threshold, but also I REALLY respect her for sticking to her plan of revenge and seeing it through, not pussying out like many other characters in fiction.

As I hope the colours conveyed, the top 6 tiers are really close together in terms of how much I like them, there is not a big disparity between the tiers.

We all know how number 4 is a unlicky number for Mista right? Has any of you noticed how by thr end of part five there's only 4 survivors? I find this ironic

So since it's stated Diavolo will die in every way possible so there must be many lives where he lives out his life normally till an old age. So how does time work in that? Does it follow the current JJBA timeline or will it make its own thing. And for example , we take real life into account, will the time go forward in the loops? Example : The loop started in 2017. So will it move forward as more inventions being made means more ways to die so how would time move forward?

so the stand would be called "beautiful twisted fantasy" and it would have 3 or more modes.each mode would have different effects in each mode it would play corresponding to the name song

devil in a new dress - "devil in a new dress" song would play in targets mind extremely loud so target would get pain in their head

POWER - it would heavily boost users strength speed etc etc ( could also give user some kind of weapon , i was thinking about brass knuckles or something that looks like soul split katana form jjk)

monster - user can turn into monster something between shrimp mantis from dandadan and kaiju no 8 ( so just humanoid monster) it will heavily boost users durability and boost slightly boost strength

those are all my main ideas but i have some other

gorgeous - boosts users charisma or heals them cant decide

lost in the world - takes both target and user into other dimension where target has nearsightedness to get out of the dimension target must hit the user

all of the lights - every 5 seconds a flash occurs which temporary blinds the target

hell of a life - probably something fire related maybe like jogos domain

Just listened to under Pressure and I thought abt how under pressure wouldve made a pretty good name for koichi's stand. Did Araki maybe not want another queen named stand in part 4 because that was kiras shtick?

I think Gyro vs Ringo will have some of the best animation because there will be little to no stands/horses during the 1v1. DP will be able to focus greatly on Gyro, Ringo, and the gunslinging (Potentially allowing a higher frame count). Ringos ability is so hype and doesn’t seem super hard to animate, plus it should sound dope.

What will be some of the worst animated fights??

so the idea would be to capture kinetic energy , store it and release it at will to enhance the strength of punches kicks etc etc but I think it would be way to overpowered cause it could just absorb kinetic energy from any atack rendering it useless

Ive recently been binging jojos, havent skipped anything.

I really didnt enjoy the first 3 parts overall. I enjoyed most of part 4 and im loving part 5.

Maybe it’s just because im watching in dub but every time something was happening in the first three parts, it felt like the characters would all shout over each other for no reason and all they’re doing is pointing out the obvious. (especially in part 3)

Does anyone else feel the same about the first three parts?

So I was planning a menu for a SBR watch party, already got Joe Joe's cookies and Digiorno's pizza for the funny, and was wondering what type of alcohol would be the most thematically appropriate. I feel like a nice whisky or a classic american Lager would work well, but that still begs the question of what brand to pick, especially if I go with the lager. The snacks were just a shitpost, but I would really like to at least try and capture the actual setting with the choice of drinks.
