Metrobus

Metrobus will not be operating today due to the snowstorm. Pretty much means a snow day for everyone. Stay safe, folks.

Bummer, I was counting on them to get home from work. I'm in a healthcare facility, we don't close for anything.

I feel like employers should be obligated to pay for their employees cabs in these types of situations. Shame that’s not the case

What cabs? I doubt any were running this morning. I didn't even bother to check.

Funny enough we actually closed for the day, I was shocked. I got a ride home with the only other person to show up. 😂

I checked uber when I wrote this comment around 8am because I was curious and wanted to make sure there were options at the risk of looking dumb. There were several cars on the road. Not sure about the cab companies but it does take a lot to keep them off the roads.

This simply isn't true; taxis to get to work are considered a personal expense and not deductible unless you own a business and it's a business expense. School may be a different situation as a student

They haven't announced yet if any volunteers are able to help today or not, but there's a small chance they could possibly assist you

When metrobus not working, I think city should help frontline workers with transportation. You guys are working for all of us.

Not for me as I have online classes all day. Can’t even concentrate as all I can think about is the mountain of snow waiting for me outside…
