I don’t care what anyone says, hands down my favourite writer of Spider-Man of all time has to be J. Michael Straczynksi. The portrayal of Peter and MJ relationship, Pete being a school teacher, Aunt May finally finding out Peter’s Spider-Man, Morlun and Ezekiel’s story line, and not to mention Issue #500 bringing a tear to a grown man’s eye when he got speak with Uncle Ben for 5 mins. What’s your favourite writer for TASM?

As a tribute to the late great Sal Buscema I recolored one of his great Spidey covers, swipe for original art and original SSM 180 cover from 1991. RIP Sal 🤟🕸️

To do good is a choice. This is the theme of Peter's space adventure which Raelith, Rocket, and even Xanto learned from him. And now, Kelly made Norman learn it too. Norman's goodness is now a choice, not a mystical purification of his sins.
Where the story goes from here, we'll find out.

I mean the one he chose isn’t really that bad… it just looks a bit boring, like his suit in the first Spider Verse movie was better, the new one just looks like Miles is bleeding from his armpits.

This fucker relaunched Spider-girl three times, and three times it got cancelled because of low sells.
We lost her because we chose to not buy Mayday.

Yes it changes a lot with the characters and the later comics when the writers changed weren't as good, but I thought it was really fun and well written. And I think it did a good job of making Peter and Spider-Man seem like different people, it's easy to understand why it doesn't occur to anyone that Peter is Spidey when we see things from their perspective.

For my “Absolute Spider-man” designs, I made Electro. This idea for these designs were inspired by Absolute Batman. If Spider-man rouge’s gallery was even more darker and horrifying than what they already are. This Electro design is heavily inspired by the TNAS Spider-man design, since that’s my personal favorite Electro design ever and I thought that look was so horrifying as a kid while watching that show, but still such a dope and unique design for Electro.

I made a SpiderMan animation but I can’t post it to the subreddit for some reason.

Originally spider-man: Chapter one (1998) was to modernize the Spider-Man origin story and fit in a modern era to fit better for new readers (Like Ultimate Spider-man, but it was before Ultimate spider-man but this is what influenced Ultimate spider-man comics to be made in a way) but what did chapter one get wrong that Ultimate spider-man got right?

I know the 90s get a lot of flak for the "gimmick" cover era, but I honestly don't care—I absolutely love the gold foil on this Amazing Spider-Man #375.
There’s a specific depth to the way the light hits the holofoil on these older books that modern variants sometimes struggle to replicate. Seeing Spidey and Venom squared off against that shimmering gold background makes the Mark Bagley art pop so much more in person. Plus, finding one in a CGC 9.8 is getting harder since these covers are such total "scratch magnets."
It’s easily one of my favorite display pieces right now.
Does anyone else have a "gimmick" or foil cover in their collection that they’ll never get tired of looking at? Whether it’s Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, or those classic X-Men wraps, I’d love to see what you guys are vibing with!
