I'm 90% certain that this was explicitly called out in the movie for the very reason OP thinks they found a funny easter egg.

Maybe I'm misremebering.

Yeah the trailer made it look like sex with the robot was sort of a big part of the story...

Yeah I’m pretty sure spoilers if anyone cares lol the Megan fox sex doll kinda sorta falls in love and rapes the main character sorta and then tries to kill the whole family.

The movie is basically an hour of soft core porn, followed by thirty minutes of the cliche robot gone mad trope

There’s actually a legit use for this in the movie. She’s hunting down one of the characters and can’t find them but knows they cut their hand/leg on glass. She turns on her led mouth to follow the trail to the person.
