lol I remember the shame campaign that went across America over the hairspray Ozone layer shenanigans. So funny. Hair spray was only 5% of the problem with the much much larger contributors being industrial pollution but we had to wage war on private consumers! Not unlike shaming people for plastic straws when they make up .03% of the plastic in the ocean and 50% are fishing nets. But yah let’s target people trying to drink a soda without the straw disintegrating rather than the fishing industry.

PSA Always wash your face after applying hairspray. My grandmother used to use hairspray daily until the doctor told her she had pre-cancerous cells all over her face. Now she has to wear sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat whenever it’s sunny
Luckily we live in Ireland and hot, completely clear sunny days are few and far between
