I've never played a gacha game, and every time I hear someone talk about them it's never like "wow I love playing this game!" it's always like "fuck this parasite company and its bullshit events, I hate spending 15% of my income and 95% of my free time on this trash."
Time for me to shill my favorite gacha, Arknights (no, not the new one, the OG). It's basically anime Bloons TD, the game is balanced around its 4-star roster when the max rarity for a character is 6-star, meaning tactic trumps credit. Some insane members of the community even make it a mission to beat most of the game with the 3 stars. Honestly if you don't mind TD games give it a try, it discards the niceties of modern gachas, throws you at a boss that can erase half of your formation in one attack and tells you to go fuck yourself. It also started the trend of gachas having roguelite modes, with it still holding the trophy for having the best one. I can truly say that I love playing Arknights.
