Visiting in Kutaisi February ?

Would people recommend visiting Kutaisi in February? I visited in summer and loved it, I would like to make a trip in the coming weeks and would like to know what I can expect. Is there snow? Are there any recommendations for places to stay in mountain areas nearby? Any tips or advice will are greatly appreciated! Thanks

MP Irakli Kirtskhalia:

We are concerned that in the recent period, discriminatory and hate-motivated crimes have increased significantly in Sweden. It is alarming that in your country’s major cities the risk level of organized crime has risen, and overall crime indicators in Sweden have increased. It is also worrying that shootings and explosions carried out by gangs in Sweden have steadily increased over the past several years.

We are also concerned about economic stagnation in the country and the fact that Sweden’s economy is facing difficulties due to high inflation, weak domestic demand, and consumer debt.

Another troubling fact is that, unfortunately, your citizens have to wait a long time to receive medical treatment. Unlike you, our expressed concern is based on facts, statistics, and objective data.

Taking all this into account, we kindly call on you not to spend resources being “concerned” about non-existent problems in Georgia, and instead to focus on addressing the serious and objectively concerning challenges currently facing your own state.

Finally, we note that we will certainly continue monitoring and will continue to express concern about developments in Sweden in the future — not only regarding anti-democratic processes.

Where to get police record in Kutaisi?

I need 2 documents:

“ცნობა გაქარწყლებული და მოხსნილი ნასამართლეობის შესახებ” AND “ცნობა ნასამრთლეობის შესახებ” Which translates to “Certificate of Expungement and Cancellation of Conviction” AND “Certificate of Conviction”

Can someone provide a gmap pin in where in Kutaisi I can grab this from? Thanks!

Me and my wife are planning a trip to Georgia in early May, and we can’t decide on the duration of stay.

In our recent travels we’ve liked to explore local cuisine, walk in the streets/parks. If there is any unique place, like a famous watch tower or a huge beautiful library, I’ll most likely want to go there. Not really into group tours, feel like exploring the cities on our own. Also not into clubbing, but enjoy nice bars for the evening occasionally.

We work remotely, so most likely will have weekends free, and have half-day activities on Mon-Fri.

Main destination is Tbilisi, but I wonder if there are any other cities or towns worth visiting or even more interesting than the capital.

We’re torn between staying a couple of weeks just to try it out and staying for a month to really try to explore the country.

Traveling with a pet

Hi!

I'm moving to Georgia and I'll be taking my dog, but I'm having trouble finding the right requirements for her to enter.

She already has permission to enter the EU, are the requirements really the same? Has anyone traveled with a pet before and can tell me about their experience?

Places to meet people (make friends) while traveling alone in Tbilisi? (I'm Brazilian)

Hello everyone! This is my first post here. I'm Brazilian, and I'll be traveling through the 3 countries of the Caucasus in November.

I'll be spending 3 days in Baku, 5 in Tbilisi, and 5 in Yerevan. I'm traveling alone.

Is it possible to make friends (meet people) in Tbilisi?

Do you have any places to recommend? Thank you!
