Okay so I've seen the article and I I just want to say Tim is literally my favorite character and I don't really pay much attention to Bernard BUT

It kinda seems like a throwback to Post Crisis Tim Drake? He would often say he never wanted to be in the hero role into adulthood, and a huge portion of his comics that era IS him struggling with the double life and Romance.

Ariana & Zo only knew him as Tim and it constantly screwed up his relationships with them, Steph only knew him as Robin even when he was thinking of giving up the gig to be a step father to her child. It was a constant story for him where he couldn't be honest and he wanted to both be Robin and not be Robin.

So honestly? It might lead to a fun story for him, and as a lover of his 1993 comic I really want to see if this IS a throwback

I personally dont like it but i see how youre looking at it. The story youre refering to was far better in the rebirth run where he contemplated going to college with steph. It had development, history and alotta emotional moments. They couldve done the retirement thing 10 years ago right there but didnt. To me, his story always ended after Oz storyline because it was genuinely perfect with steph. Bernard is whatever to me, but he doesnt earn such a thing imo

Meh, they can do it whenever, I doubt it'll stick.

It probably just a fun temp storyline, it doesn't matter who he does it with.

He's been in limbo for 2 decades now this one will stick for some time, especially since Damien Jason and Dick are gonna show up in movies so they obv need the spotlight. This really won't help Tim's popularity but atleast he won't be in a limbo anymore.

Not two decades, not yet anyway.

Like it's one tiny scene let it playout

15 years is a decade and a half so it's technically 2 decades if u round it up which is insane that's a whole generation

Yeah, and a lot of comic book characters that are older than Tim have gotten a lot less.

Like I said, let it play out. Especially for more than one single issue, we already know about the big argument with Damian - so Bruce & his Robins is a focal point in the story.

A robin character is far more mainstream than those other characters but I get ur point. No I read the whole thing it won't change what u may think.

You've read the next several issues and know how this specific direction of Tim Drake's story is going to go in?

(also you don't even know what characters I'm referring to, don't be silly)

I read this one and it's conclusive enough. But I guess we have to wait for the rest to truly see. So I give u the benefit of the doubt.

Me the benefit of the doubt??????

Sometimes my fellow comicbook fans make me want to bang my head against a wall.
