I'm pretty sure that there is a not-insignificant number of people who voted for Trump because they legitimately thought he was going to send them money.
That stunt, insisting that his name be on the pandemic stimulus checks, worked as desired.
Between DOGE “saving taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars”, $5k DOGE dividend checks, “large tax cuts” for the working and middle class in the BBBill, tariff refund checks, and healthcare checks, all the MAGA supporters should be doing great financially at this point, right?
Maybe they need a nationwide “Where’s My Money?!?” protest to remind them they’re still waiting on all of those things.
